Losing weight Plant Based Diet

A plant-based diet is a diet where you eat only natural foods that the earth produces. Then everything that we eat, must be in its natural unprocessed form and whenever possible. Most of the raw food dieters eat their food in their raw state, because they contain more nutrients than cooked food.

There is a prerequisite to do, before we talk about weight loss, and that unfortunately the "guru" of commercial diets often ignore: lose weight efficiently and lastingly means to change their eating habits.

If it has come to the point where she is overweight, or obese, it means that something was not correct in the style of life and particularly in previous power, and therefore must be radically changed. It is unthinkable to propose such a person to follow a diet for a period of time and let you return to previous bad eating habits.

A proper diet should not focus solely on weight loss. This, indeed, should be a secondary aspect, a consequence of a diet which aims primarily to improve and the health status of the entire body, and not just the exterior. Any person with a minimum of knowledge in nutrition can create a diet plan that allows anyone to lose weight so fast, but only doctors and professionals and updated are able to conceive, diets based on the latest scientific discoveries, able not only to lose the excess weight, but especially to improve the health, to cure and prevent all those diseases related to an unbalanced diet.

Another point of this premise, to understand and assimilate, is that almost all diet plans work in the short term, it is true, allowing you to lose too much weight in a short time. Many people feel better after a few days of the diet, but this is not a high quality index. Most people have a very bad daily dietary and unbalanced, and when he passes to any diet designed also by the most incompetent dietitian, is often normal that you feel better, and perhaps with more energy, especially in the early days.

There is however a sin in all dietary plans that promise fast weight loss, leaving free to eat products that feel town associated with a heavy and rich food (meat, fat, butter, cheese, pasta, desserts): can operate more or less well in the short term, but always fail when you consider the health effects in the medium and long term. Lose weight, even with a poor diet, helps temporarily to lower triglycerides, improve the efficiency of insulin and to lower the pressure. However in the long term, you will lose these benefits, and you buy much more serious disadvantages: renal failure, increased risk for heart disease, cancer, osteoporosis, heart attacks, diabetes, are just some of the pathologies associated with diets rich in animal protein, fats, and without fiber, fruits and vegetables. Today, unfortunately, this type of diet is the most popular, which are new followers every day, often advertised unduly and television talk shows.

Diets are so-called "low-carb," which quite caloric percentages of fats and proteins, and increase the already high proportion of animal foods consumed in the traditional Western diet. It's a lousy way to lose weight but a great way to increase dramatically the risk of chronic diseases. As you can imagine a diet that openly goes against the guidelines of all institutes of nutrition and research, which invite to reduce the consumption of animal foods and refined products for fruit, vegetables and whole plant foods?

Probably the only reason that drive these "experts" is purely economic and advertising. Often these diets are accompanied by entire packages of products, their creators claim to be "genes" or misunderstood by the scientific community, and manage thanks to the complicity of the media to create a sequel to real followers, that thanks to the good old word-of-mouth can do an idiocy the new fashion of the moment.

The result? Over 90% of people who follow a diet regain all lost weight in a short time, adding a few pounds more. In fact, the low-carb diet plans and typically low-quality ones cause a slowing metabolism, which is a set of biochemical processes occurring in the human body and punctuates the rhythm to which a person consumes calories introduced. After a period of low-calorie diet the body slows down the metabolism, to preserve the reserves and facilitating survival in conditions of scarcity, in this case food. When you return to normal diet, and increase calorie intake, the slowed metabolism will not be able to consume all the calories introduced, which will increase your weight, adding more pounds than the weight before the diet.
